Busy Boy!!

Coleman is now CRAWLING and CLIMBING!!! He finally figured out how to crawl using all fours... he has been army crawling for a long time and just out of the blue he figured it out! He also did figured out how to climb!! It all started when he was able to climb something low to his reach and now he figured out to reach up high to pull himself up. So now he is exploring all the new things that he hasnt seen up high... there are quite a few times that he has fallen and bonk his head and ended up having breath holding spells. It made me feel really bad when he goes through those. He wants to explore EVERYTHING!!!

Icicles

We have HUGE icicles!!! Its all hanging down all around my house. This one is in the north side of my house... everytime you break them, they all grow back out so fast till it touches the ground. The last 2 is in my backyard (south side) of my house it is so THICK and its already molded around the dog run and to the ground... You cant see anything through the window.. its all icicles. I think its time for SPRING to get here!!!

Coleman's Teeth

This picture is when Coleman was barely nine months old and got his first two bottom teeth (yes both came up right around the same time)
Now this picture is as of today... 10 days of turning one years old... he now has 6 teeth total... 3 on the top and 3 on the bottom. I swear he gets a new tooth everyday!! (Sorry... he just ate some bananas and hes all messy from it.) I think its funny that he has teeth now because Ella didnt get her very first tooth when she was 13 months old. So beware... he likes to bite.

Hula Dance

This is Ella practicing her Hula dance... She has been taking dance class every Wednesday for half hour and she is LOVING it! Her first recital is coming in May. The first photo, she is doing the dance called "Little Brown Gal" and the last two photos, is doing the hula bum shake. Like I said... its FUN to watch her!!

Heart shaped Cake... Mmmm!

Ella and I made Heart shaped cake for dad/Dave... it turned out great!! Its white cake with red spots and covered it with pink frosting with red crystal sprinkles.

I gave some pieces of cake that I cut out to Coleman so that he could have a taste test. He LOVES it and he threatened us "Don't take it away!"

There is our cake and is sitting beautifully in the glass cake holder waiting for us to eat it for tonights FHE dessert. YUM!

Two old men

Drew's and Adair's 50th birthday party

Today we threw a party for Drew's and Adair's 50th birthday.... Drew is David's dad and Adair is one of Drew's and Ginny's long time friend. Their birthdays was in December... there was several unexpected events and we all decided to throw it on Groundhogs day which was today... Back in the day when they both were roommates in college at BYU they made up a tradition to celebrate groundhogs day with all kinds of activities (I don't know the details) so we went ahead and celebrated their 50th birthday at my house with families and close friends. We all had a good time and the kids had so much fun playing with other kids... as soon they left, both Ella and Coleman conked out. In this picture, they have a card briefcase with sayings along with candies joking about them getting old and them getting ready to blow out their candles... sorry we couldn't do 50 candles each side they might suffer smoke inhalation and die. Better not to risk that. ;o)
