...and we're OFF!!!

Just so you know that I will be off for 2 weeks with this whole BLOG journal... We are leaving on a cruise to HAWAII early, early Sunday morning!! I will post some pictures for sure!!! Be safe where ever you are and what ever you're doing. Ta Ta!

Ok. I just saw something a little hilarious today. I was driving along Washington Blvd heading to the library and saw a car driving by me... the driver has a long mullet hair with geeky looking glasses and a moustache... AND this is his "COOL" car.

Thats right!! There are HORNS on the front of his car!! hahaha

Family Home Evening

Last night we called the Barnes and asked if they would like to join us at the Park to go fly kites for Family Home Evening... they were DELIGHTED!! So we met up at the Friendship Park and the wind was perfect!!! After playing around with the kites the kids went to the nearby playground to play for a little bit. Coleman had a BLAST swinging on the swings... it was his first time on it and LOVES it! We went to Zeppe's for our treat and it was YUMMY!

Not Bad!

It was the middle of the day and it was almost nothing to do at the moment and I took a look at Ella's hair and how much I really want for her to grow it long... but at her stage its impossible to keep it nice and clean... She would get those teeny tiny obnoxious knots in her hair and she absolutely does not want to have her hair styled. So I felt the need to have her hair cut NOW... I asked Ella if she would like to have her hair cut and she would reply back, "Ya! My hair is getting TOO long and its ALMOST touch my bum!" I bravely pulled out the special scissors for hair and figure out what to do and how to start. I told Ella that she has to sit VERY still in order for me NOT to mess up. She did GREAT!!! I am pretty happy that I did well for the first time and she looks really cute and it looks so much better! Here are the pictures BEFORE and AFTER.

Deers!

We were heading home after eating dinner at my folk's house last night and we saw 2 deers eating grass along the busy Burton Lane! Its always fun to see something unusual happening near our parents house.

Excited or Anxiety?

AHHH! I can't tell if I am experimenting EXCITEMENT or ANXIETY??!! Dave and I are leaving to go on a 12 day cruise to Hawaii in less than a week!!! WITHOUT the KIDS... This is going to be the first time to be gone that long without the kids yet this is the first time in a long time to be alone with my own husband!!
