We must be on the NICE list...

First off lets start by Ella's Preschool program... She had it on the 18th of December... like I promised... I would post something about it. It was very well put together program and I was extremely impressed!!! All of the kids are so cute... I was going to take a video through the whole thing but I was worried that if I got to Ella's part, my camera would die. Instead of doing that... I saved it till she comes on... good thing I did because her part was very close to the end. Sorry about my camera shooting skills... its pretty shaky. So... go pop some corn and watch maybe 2 minutes of her fame! (she is on the far left dancing with a boy...)

She is in the middle row (she sitting above the brown hair girl in the front row.) She is finishing up the last song and this is Mrs. Farr, she is the Head of this school explaining us that Ella's Tuesday and Thursday classes have been practicing since Halloween and was very, very impressed with all the students for working really hard at a short practicing time since MWF classes has more time to practice. We sure love this school and we are so proud of Ella doing so well with her performances!! Now Ella is out of school for Christmas break and will resume again on the 5th of January.

Second... Christmas Bakin'...The kids and I have decided to do something nice for the neighbors and friends by baking some yummy Christmas treats... as you can tell... I don't look very attractive in the pictures because I have been working NON-STOP in the kitchen hurrying to get this ready to go before the snowstorm comes... I made some yummy Pretzels-Hugs with Christmas M&M's on top. I should have taken a picture of it but you might can see a little bit in the background of Ella. The one I am doing in this picture is the Chocolate Carmel cookies... its chocolate cookie dough covered in Rolos and rolled in powder sugar. Pretty tasty! The kids had a taste test before delivering.
Third... THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS! That day it finally STOPPED snowing for the first time in 24+ hours... The roads was hideous. It looks like the snow plow must be on strike or something. It was a freakin ice skating rink. Later that afternoon, we were invited to go to my dad's side of the family Christmas Eve potluck... its been a tradition as long as I could remember. My mom's side just had the "Sunday before Christmas" party... where we gather together to have potluck (its so much easier when you have a large quantities of families) and a fun game of White Elephant gift. Sorry no pictures for both... lame I know. Okay back to Christmas Eve, we ALWAYS take a short drive to look at the Christmas lights in downtown and the neighborhoods. After arriving home... all of us has a surprise from the Christmas Fairy... NEW PAJAMAS!! Then we would read a story "The Night Before Christmas" and leave a plate of carrots out on the porch for the Reindeers and of course milk and cookies for Santa. The kids were off to bed and went to sleep very quick.

Finally... THE CHRISTMAS MORNING! Was by far the best morning! Dave and I have been awake around 7:00 o'clock and we have been waiting patiently for our kids to wake up and listen for their reaction after seeing what Santa had left behind. It was priceless. We are proud to announce that we have a new addition to the family, SCOTTIE, our miniature schnauzer.

Every Christmas we always have a small family photo shoot after opening our gifts. Dave is holding Scottie. Its hard to see... look down below and you'll see a better picture of him.

Dave and I are happy to see the kids happy.Scottie!!
All in all we had a wonderful Christmas holiday and we are looking forward for the New Year to come.

Do You Think You Can Dance???

Check out our HOT moves!! Merry Christmas everybody!!!

...and I have one sick, sick, sick little boy.

That makes it TWO kids with PNEUMONIA!!! Ack! Coleman is a little worst than Ella... not terribly worst that he does not need to be admitted to the hospital... (thank goodness.) Coleman has a little respiratory distress along with a pneumonia... poor kid... he was traumatized for life at the Wee Care where we took him in at this late hour.
So the doctor wanted to check his oxygen level by putting the monitor on his toe... Coleman had a major freak out... I guess the red light on it scares him.
Then he wanted us to give Coleman some breathing treatment by using the Nebulizer hoping to help him to expand his lungs before going for his chest x-ray... This is him also freaking out. (That was after the treatment was over)
This is what the nebulizer looks like...

NOW... This is pretty sad sight... we took him to the X-ray room... I didn't bring my camera with so this is what they EXACTLY did to him in order to get him a good x-ray picture... I found this through google so this is NOT my son... imagine him in it screaming bloody murder... and it'll probably scarred him for life.

Now... he pretty much hates doctors or nurses... every time they would come in the room he'll scream... "No! NO! no!" over and over again till they leave the room.
After all the screaming and freaking out... he conked out in my arms while we were waiting for the doctor with the results... so ya... hes got it too. My poor baby! **On the side note... Ella is doing a little bit better... she is showing a little improvements but still gets the nasty sounding cough. Hopefully these two will be back to normal self again in time for Christmas!

Christmas is here at the Terry's!

Ella, Coleman and I decorated our Christmas tree(s) the first week of December and put up our other Christmas decorations while listening to Christmas music... The little ones couldn't keep their hands off of the pretty ornaments. Every day we would add another day on our Christmas countdown calendar... Ella would keep asking if its Christmas yet... I can see that she is getting really excited for Christmas to come. Coleman hasn't quite got the whole idea yet... but he still gets excited too.
The Big tree I decorated... Its How Grinch Stole Christmas theme... as you can see Grinch sitting in the tree.

Other Christmas miscellaneous...I put the lights on the three little trees and let the kids go to town in decorating it... they had a fun time doing it their own way! This is our Christmas countdown calendar... I made it few years ago... I LOVE making Christmas crafts! The picture below are all the date pieces that are waiting for their turn to be put up on the magnet calendar above. Our Stockings hung with care...In order for our Christmas to feel complete... We need to go see the lights at the temple square and show the kids the real meaning of Christmas... I am hoping the kids will get over this sickness quick so we can have the opportunity to go see it.

Letter from Santa!!

The kids got a surprise letter from Santa Claus in the mail today... boy are they ever so excited to get a LETTER from SANTA!!! It really made the kids' day since they both haven't been feeling so good.

I have one sick, sick, sick little girl.

Ella is so stinkin' sick!! She started out with a cough over the last weekend and it progressively got worse and worse along with a running/stuffy nose and a fever of a 102.2!!!... after trying out different ways to get her better with cough syrup, humidifier, vapor-rub, steamy showers, relaxation, Tylenol, etc... it still seem doesn't do its job. I dialed up the pediatrician's office to see if she could be seen today... luckily she could! The doctor checked her as usual and she listened to her lungs very carefully with a little concern on her face... the diagnoses is that she as PNEUMONIA!!! Its pretty mild one... nothing serious that she does not need to be admitted to the hospital or anything... The doctor gave her some antibiotics and we will be watching her to see if she has progressed with it. Poor girl, she is had had it with being sick. I feel bad for her. Lets hope that this antibiotics will do its job! I miss my little girl.

Oh my HECK!!!

I finally BLOGGED!!! After 2 months, well okay okay... almost THREE months of NO blog!!! Gaddzooks! Well... A lot of things have happened in the last 2 1/2 or 3 months... Let me just catagorized of the things we did...

September:

*Ella started her first day of preschool at Pages.
*Marrian and her boys ARRIVED from GERMANY!!!
*Had a birthday (man, its so not fun being in the "late" twenties)

October:

*Played with Marrian and her boys.
*Dave had an emergency appendectomy.
*Took care of Dave for about 2 weeks till he's able to get back to normal self.
*Fighting the sickies thats been going on here...
*Halloween... went to Trunk or Treat in the ward. Ella dressed as a Hocus Pocus Witch and Coleman went as a chicken. They had a blast getting all the candy and was eaten all in one week :)

November:

*Played with Marrian some more!!
*Chopped my hair off up to my shoulders... MY MOM DIDNT EVEN NOTICED after 2 hours of being with her!
*Dave and I had our SIX year anniversary... man, I love that guy!
*Elder Thomas Terry came home after fulfilling his mission at San Franando, California mission!!
*Had a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner at my parents house... I made ORANGE rolls from STRATCH!!! My dad was surprised! Its been years since we had them... my grandma used to make those all the time for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner... I guess the recipe as been lost or something happened or no one knew how to make it... it was good to have the traditional orange rolls again... I hope to keep that tradition alive again.

December:

*Got my tree all decorated and brought out the little tree just for the kids to put their fun ornaments on... now I'm still trying to figure out how to keep this little guy of mine NOT to touch them...
*Dave had a BIRTHDAY!!! We celebrated his birthday with just us... Ella and I made him a birthday banner to put on our living room wall, made a cake (somehow the cake fell apart and it kinda ruined it... oh well, we still stuck candles in it and sang it to him), made his dinner at his request... grilled cheese and tomato soup. Then we watch a movie together and had a fun entertainment after ;o)
*Said good-bye to Marrian and her boys as they left to go back to Germany... It has been the funnest 3 1/2 months!!!

There... That is all that had happened in the last few months... Marrian has asked me to KEEP my BLOG UP TO DATE!!! I sure hope that I will be able to do that... By January.. this will be my new resolution of keeping my blog up to date... in fact.. I want to try to get to my certain goal of reaching certain amounts of blog post... I'll have to get back to you on that when January comes. Now It is still December... I will do my best to post something exciting happening this coming month.

Ta ta for now... oh, by the way!!! I CHANGED MY LAYOUT!!! YAY!!! Something new for a change!!
